You may think an Old Fashioned is made only with Bourbon or Brandy. That is why we are calling these drinks "New Fashioned Cocktails". Grab the spirit of your choice & use our mixes to make great cocktails that are quick, easy & top quality.
Classic B Friendly Mix Recipes
O.G. Old Fashioned
Whiskey or Bourbon
Just as the name implies, this is the standard to which all Old Fashioneds will soon be measured. Whiskey sweetened with our premium bitters that bring out notes of orange and cherry.
In short glass add:
- ½ oz Classic B Friendly Mix
- 2 oz whiskey or bourbon
- Ice, stir, garnish
Tall Fitz
Gin
Complex & refreshing, a tall twist on an American classic. (Fitzgerald + bubbles)
In tall glass add:
- ¾ oz B Friendly Classic Mix
- ¾ oz lemon juice
- 1 ½ oz gin
- Stir, fill ½ way with club soda
- Ice, garnish
Remember Edmound (or Fitzgerald)
Rye Whiskey or Rum
Another old-world cocktail with quality bitters, lemon and gin.
In short glass or shaking tin add:
- ¾ oz Classic B Friendly Mix
- ¾ oz lemon juice
- 2 oz rye whiskey or rum
- Ice, stir or shake, garnish
Mocktail - Sober Fitz
Non-Alcoholic
All the complexity, none of the tilt. You won’t miss the booze with this one.
In tall glass add:

- 1 oz lemon juice
- Whirl in glass, fill ½ way with club soda or flavored seltzer

Añejo tequila
An Old Fashioned with a Baja flare – notes of maple mixed with anejo tequila.
In short glass add:

Brandy
Tickle the feathers of your Wisconsinite friends with this cocktail made just for them. It doesn’t get any more Wisconsin than brandy and maple!
In tall glass add:
- ¾ oz Maple Citrus B Friendly Mix
- ¾ oz lemon juice
- 1 ½ oz brandy
- Stir, fill ½ way with club soda
- Ice, garnish
Mocktail - MN No-Garita
Non-Alcoholic
A refreshing sparkling maple lemonade with a hint of orange.
In tall glass add:

Hornet's Kiss "New Fashioned"
Tequila, Vodka, Brandy or Gin
Just one kiss won’t be enough. Sweet with honey and just a little bite. Use your favorite spirit to add just the right amount of kick.

- ½ oz Honey Jalapeño B Friendly Mix
- 2 oz tequila or gin or brandy

Whiskey, Vodka or Gin
A twist on a classic cocktail, spiced up with just enough Jalapeño and a hint of Honey.
In short glass or shaking tin add:
- ¾ oz Honey Jalapeño B Friendly Mix
- ¾ oz lime juice
- 2 oz whiskey, vodka or gin

Wake-Up Whiskey Cream

- 3/4 oz Espresso-Choco-Cherry
- 2 oz whiskey or bourbon
- 3/4 oz cream
- Build in lowball glass, ice, stir, garnish.
Italian Soda
Non-Alcoholic
In tall glass add:
- 3/4 oz Espresso-Choco-Cherry
- 6 oz club soda or flavored seltzer
- 3/4 oz cream (or non-dairy substitute)
- Pour mix, fill 1/2 way with club soda or seltzer, add ice, finish with cream and garnish

Your cribbage companion.
In tall glass add:
- 3/4 oz Espresso-Choco-Cherry
- 1/2 oz brandy
- 4 oz club soda
- 3/4 oz cream (or non-dairy substitute)
- pour mix, brandy, club soda, add ice

- Empty 1 single serve Maple Citrus B Friendly
- Mix into a 10 oz glass.
- Add 2 oz of your favorite bourbon (rum, tequila, vodka & gin also works)
- Fill glass with ice, stir, garnish with orange peel.
Hot Toddy Recipe
- Pre-warm glass with hot water, then empty.
