About Us

The man behind the mustache

Brandon

My name is Brandon, but you can call me B.
I started B Friendly to share my secret ’stache with the world. I come from a family of farmers, inventors, and risk takers. I have a blended history of travel, serving, and bartending, with more than 20 years of experience. During that time, I found passion in creating smiles through high-quality,
personalized cocktails. Through research and necessity, I’ve figured out how to bring my exceptional bar experience into your life.
While watching the service industry crumble in 2020, I created a solution to give you a consistently top-notch cocktail with perfectly portioned ingredients. This keeps your space tidy, your shopping list short, and elevates your cocktail confidence. It might feel like you’re tricking people, but we just want to make your life easier. Your friends don’t need to know you lean on us,
we’ll keep your secret.

The Cause

Working in hospitality can be a dirty grind. As a bartender, we thrive at providing great service, which means we check our own wellbeing at the door so we can create an experience to help you process your day. When combined with an underlying mental illness, bartending can exhaust our ability to tend to our own needs, causing us to cope in unhealthy ways. Many times, we mask depression and anxiety with a smile and a kind word for others. As I know all too well.
My journey behind the bar, along with a personal history of mental illness led me down path of depression and self-medication. In 2013, I almost lost my battle with depression. And in 2014, my father lost his battle with depression when he died by suicide. ***
The service industry lacks consistent mental health resources. That’s why the team at B Friendly is committed to raising awareness about mental health within the service industry. We are committed to giving back to help those in need.
One of our partnerships is with Serving Those Serving — an organization devoted to the social, mental, and physical welfare of our community. High-stress jobs combined with lack of benefits creates a greater risk of mental health, financial, and addiction struggles. Our workforce deserves
better support, and we are here to change the conversation. Please join us.

Why The Baby Face

Look at Baby Brandon — fresh-faced and ready to take on the world!
We all have to start somewhere,
and remembering where we came from keeps us grounded.
Rumor has it… bartending started with the Old Fashioned over 140 years ago, setting the foundation for the service industry. B Friendly has reinvented the Old Fashioned for the twenty-first century.
This is just the beginning.
